Jambalaya

Ingredients

For 4 servings

Recipe

  • 1 cup(s) ham cut in strips
  • cup(s) chopped onion
  • 0.5 cup(s) green pepper cut into squares
  • 1 medium clove of garlic. minced
  • 2 tablespoon(s) oil
  • condensed tomato soup
  • 2 cup(s) water
  • 0.67 cup(s) raw rice
  • 1 medium bay leaves
  • 1 cup(s) cooked shrimp
  • chopped parley

Jambalaya Directions

  1. In large frying pan, brown ham and cook onion, green pepper and garlic in oil until vegetables are tender.
  2. Add remaining ingredients except shrimp and parsley.
  3. Bring to a boil. Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes.
  4. Stir now and then. Stir in shrimp; cook 5 minutes more or until rice is tender.
  5. Garnish with parsley.
